“In group you learn that perhaps you’re not alone or as different as you think.”

The Women’s Process Group is an ongoing, therapist-facilitated group for women who want to explore themselves more deeply in the presence of others who are doing the same.

This group is designed for women who are:

✔ high-functioning on the outside but anxious or overwhelmed on the inside

✔ tired of being “the strong one” or the caretaker in relationships
✔ navigating transitions in identity, partnership, motherhood, career, or belonging
✔ longing for deeper connection but unsure how to ask for it
✔ curious about how their nervous system and attachment history shape their relationships
✔ seeking relief from loneliness, self-criticism, or chronic over-responsibility.

Group therapy provides a confidential, supportive setting  in which members help one another grow through honest reflection, compassionate feedback, and shared experience

Why Group Work Helps

Individual therapy helps you understand yourself. Group therapy helps you understand yourself in relation to others.

Many people are surprised to discover that the patterns they struggle with in their personal lives — feeling dismissed, over-responsible, unseen, misunderstood, afraid to take up space, afraid of conflict — show up in the group too. This is not a problem. It’s the work.

Within this relational microcosm, group offers:

BELONGING

without losing the self

HONESTY

without rupture

CONFLICT

with repair

Vulnerability

with containment

Support

without rescuing

Feedback

without judgment

Healing Through Relationship

Group work recognizes that so much of what hurts us happens in relationships, and so much of what heals us does too. One of the unique strengths of group therapy is that members both receive thoughtful support and discover their own capacity to support others.

In this way, group expands our understanding of:

What intimacy can look like
What conflict we can tolerate
What boundaries can protect
What vulnerability can offer

For many, it becomes a meaningful corrective emotional experience — one that shifts the internal narrative from “I’m alone with this” to “I am seen, understood, and not too much.”

How will I know Group is for me?

It’s completely normal to have questions—or even some hesitation—about joining a therapy group. You might wonder: Will this actually help me? Will there be enough time for what I’m dealing with? What if I don’t connect with the other members? What if it feels awkward to share in front of others?

Many people feel unsure or self-conscious at first. With time, though, most begin to experience a growing sense of safety, trust, and belonging. For many, group therapy becomes a surprising source of relief—because you’re no longer carrying things alone, and you get to talk openly in a private, confidential space with others who truly understand.
